After becoming an oil artist, my view of the world around me changed to a more visual perspective.  Constantly, I now see a beautiful sunset, cloud patterns, or a sunlit building and think, "How would I paint that, and what colors and brushstrokes would I use?"  I am always reminded of our God the Great Creator who made this beautiful earth.  From the majestic mountains to the prairies to the marshes on the coast, there is so much inspiration for paintings.  Nature's glory just speaks to my artistic soul!"   Julie Mann

Gratitude

An unexpected pleasure I discovered on this journey that we call "life" is how much fun it is to share it with friends, mentors, and collectors who are also passionate about art.  It is one of the greatest gifts of being an artist.  These dear colleagues never cease to inspire me, encourage me, teach me, and make me laugh!  I am so grateful for these friends and for the joy of this journey as an artist!
